Veterinarian Associate

Muddy Creek Animal Care Center is seeking a full-time veterinary associate to join its prestigious team. We are located in the quintessentially New England town of Rowley, MA. We are located 30 minutes north of Boston and only minutes from local beaches, iconic Newburyport, and Plum Island. The area offers dining, kayaking, boating and fishing, and easy access to the mountains of central and northern New England.

Our small animal hospital is open 7 days a week and offers full-service general veterinary care, surgery, and dentistry. We are eager to add a team player with excellent communication skills and a great work ethic. This is a great opportunity for a veterinarian looking for a supportive and positive environment where you can develop your skills.

Veterinary Technician

Do you have a passion for taking care of pets and the people who love them?

At Muddy Creek Animal Care Center, we are passionate about the care we provide to our patients and clients. We are looking for a Veterinary Technician to support our goal of creating healthier lives for our patients and their families.

As an experienced veterinary technician, you already know what it takes to be a successful veterinary professional. Some of the key skills that we are looking for with this particular opportunity include:

  • Vaccine knowledge
  • Preventative care knowledge
  • Medication dispensing and administering
  • Obtaining a complete patient history and maintaining treatment records
  • Pharmacology calculations
  • Surgical experience (prep, monitoring, recovery, etc.)
  • Venipuncture and IV catheter placement

This is a full-time position for an experienced veterinary technician with at least two years experience.

Pet Stylist

Are you an ambitious team player with a great work ethic interested in joining a fun, fast-paced atmosphere? Muddy Paws Salon is currently looking to expand its pet stylist team at Muddy Creek Animal Care Center in Rowley, Mass. Our newly renovated salon also has state of the art equipment.

Muddy Creek Animal Care Center, a high-quality full-service hospital, is looking for a full-time experienced pet stylist to join our team. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a hospital with a fun-loving, yet professional, atmosphere. We provide a great environment to work and the opportunity to continue to grow your client base. This is a full-time position that requires a weekend shift.

  • Canine/Feline Service Responsibilities:
  • Brushing, bathing, and conditioning of animals
  • Bath and brush outs, lion cuts, soft paw applications, de-matting and ear cleaning
  • Canine/Feline Service Qualifications:
  • Must have knowledge in all breed standard cuts
  • Must be able to work with clients to obtain the desired result
  • Preferred experience in canine and feline grooming services
